AIM
(Alert Issue Message):
When issues arise and need action, the association sends an "AIM" to all
members requesting an action to be taken on a state or local issue that, in the opinion
of the Board of Directors, directly affects Winter Visitors. The action
requested may be in the form of a needed call, a letter to the appropriate governing body
having jurisdiction over the issue, or the signing of a petition in support or
objection of the subject issue.. AIM consists of a brief outline of the issue, Board of Directors Policy,
and viewpoints, for and against the requested action. |
